text: Mar. 18. Beirut. Gualterius Brisebarram Berrithi dominus makes an eleemosynary grant, giving half a vineyard to the leprosary of St Lazarus in Jerusalem. The vineyard is in the hands of magister Lambertus. The brothers of St Lazarus can come every wine harvest to collect their share of the wine. Gualterius promises that, should he wish to join a religious community, he will become a brother of St Lazarus. Witnesses: Paganus Alatesta; Richardus de Rembaham; Gualterius Ardel vicecomes; Obertus de Balneo; Lecius; Robertus de Ancore; Girimodus; Petrus de Sancto-Albino Wiannensis; and all the milites and burgenses of the city of Beirut.

Galterius de Berito Montisregalis dominus, with the agreement of his brother Guido and his daughter Beatrix, makes a sealed eleemosinary grant, to benefit particularly the soul of his wife Helena. In the presence and with the consent of King Amalric, he gives the brothers of the leprosary of St Lazarus of Jerusalem an annual rent of 40 besants to to be drawn from the fief rent [assisia] at the cathena of Acre that King Amalric gave him in exchange for Beirut. Witnesses: Guerricus, Petracensis ecclesie Latinorum primus archiepiscopus; Seherinus de Mamedone; Seherinus de Waise; Siguinus; Girardus de Beteras; Guarinus de Hobelet; Girardus de Spineto; Inguanius, Petrus de Hasard; Osmundus de Belnaco; magister Martinus; magister Raimundus; Herricus de Leodio; Herricus filius ejus. The charter was drawn up by Laurentius domioni Galterii capellanus.
