At the request of the patriarch of Jerusalem, Pope Innocent III postpones the case between the patriarchs of Antioch and Jerusalem over the church of Tyre, allowing the patriarch of Jerusalem or his representatives to answer to the charges in Rome during the three years from the next octave of the Feast of Epiphany.

Abbot Gervase of Prémontré reminds the patriarch of Jerusalem how on papal orders Frater Hellinus abbas Floreffiae had accompanied the bishop of Acre on his journey to the East and how Hellinus, who had full powers to represent their Order, asked the patriarch to assist the Premonstratensians. Gervase asks the patriarch to bear in mind especially the restoration of the possessions of the Premonstratensians, [the abbeys of] Sanctus Samuel and Sanctus Abacuc, the first being a daughter of Prémontré, the second a daughter of Floreffe. text: Mar. 2. Lateran. The patriarch of Jerusalem, the papal legate, has asked for licence to translate the bishop of Paphos to the archbishopric of Nazareth. The bishop fell ill at Paphos and is anyway ignorant of the language and rites of the Greci, who make up the population of his diocese. Pope Gregory IX agrees to the patriarch’s request.
