Petrus Tripolis episcopus had challenged the rights of free entry and departure with merchandise from Tripoli and the exemption of a third part of terciaria. The Pisans had claimed that the count had no rights in the funda of the Pisans in Tripoli or over the entry or departure from Tripoli with merchandise. Bohemond confirms that the Pisans already had these rights and receives in exchange a gift of 500 Saracen besants.
