text: Feb. 14. Acre. In the patriarch’s palatium. The record of the arbitration by Patriarch Albert of Jerusalem on a dispute between Martinus Rozia, a citizen of Genoa, and frater Hermannus, magister hospitalis Alamanorum de Acon, over a house in Tyre that had belonged to the late Theodorus Surianus. The patriarch rules that frater Hermannus should give Martinus Rozia 60 properly weighed Saracen besants of Syria. Martinus accepts, provided the gold coins are properly weighed, and surrenders to frater Armannus the charter he has that relates to the house. Witnesses: Galterius Acconensis episcopus; frater Lodoicus; Aldo ecclesie sancte crucis de Accon canonicus; Obertus Aurie; Nicholaus Spinola.
