text: Apr. 7. Jerusalem. Amalric, per dei gratiam in sancta civitate Iherusalem Latinorum rex quintus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, giving Gislebertus magister Hospitalis and the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem a casale called Semma, which is popularly called Casale Episcopi, the boundaries of which have been established by Guillelmus and other homines of the king together with the brothers of the Hospital. This casale is given in exchange for Faluge. Witnesses: Walterus princeps Galilee; Gurmundus de Tyberiade; Hugo Cesariensis; Rohardus Ioppensis; Rohardus castellanus turris Dauid; Gvillelmus Rufus vicecomes Ascalone; Arnulfus castellanus de Blancagarda; Robertus de [Ha]lbencurt. The charter was drawn up by Radulfus episcopus Bethleem regisque cancellarius.
