text: Aug. 8. Bohemond, the son of Prince Bohemond of Antioch, Dei gratia Tripolis comes, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to frater Gaufridus de Donjum sancte domus Hospitalis Hierusalem magister and the brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem. He gives them the road [via] which Count Raymond of Tripoli had retained for his own use when he gave land in Tripoli. Bohemond adds the gift of a gate in the wall of Tripoli, from which he will exact no dues [consuetudo vel jus]. The road and gate are bordered on the right hand side by the aqueduct of Tripoli and on the left by the sea.
