text: Mar. 24 1163 - Mar. 7/26 1164. Bohemond III son of Raymond, the late prince of Antioch, having lordship over Latakia and Galadum, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the church of St Andrew of Amalfi and all Amalfitans, confirming all their possessions. He gives them the right to half of all consuetudines and jura with the freedom to come and go and sell and buy. He also gives 3 estracones in the city of Latakia, freed from servitium and with the right to build whatever they want on them. The estraconi/estacines are bounded on the east by a road, on the west by the sea port, on the south by the church of Sanctus Petrus de platea and on the north [a media nocte] by the house of a Surianus called Asset. The gift is made to Landulfus comes Mauro and Luca de Floro, who give Bohemond 1300 besants in return.
