Now that the dispute between the emperor Frederick and his son Conrad on one side and the citizens of Acre and men of the kingdom of Jerusalem on the other has been amicably resolved, Pope Gregory IX authorizes the archbishop of Nazareth and the bishop of Acre to relax sentences of excommunication and interdict.
