Balianus miles makes an eleemosynary grant to St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, giving the abbey a casale called Dargerboan/Dargerbean, together with a third part of a gastina called Zonia. The deed is made with the consent of his lord Hugo comes Iope, from whom he was holding the casale in fief [de quo predictum casale tenebam et de cuius feodo erat], and King Baldwin II, dei gratia Iherosolimorum rex secundus, who seals the charter at the request of Balianus and Hugo.
