text: Apr. 19. Antioch. Raymond, Dei favente clementia princeps Antiochenus [elsewhere princeps invictissimus], and his wife Constantia confirm under seal all those properties that have been recently restored to the possession of the church of the Holy Sepulchre. Outside the city walls they are: 2 mills to the west of the Gate of the Bridge [porta Pontis], of which one is a building and is called in Arabic Funeidic and the other has lain in ruins for a long time; and a vineyard once owned by Bruno platearius. Within the walls they are: an apotheca situated before the Bath House that is called Omar in Arabic; a deserted house, anciently called of Berutus and situated before the church of St Menna; a house, called Serice, which is next to the church of St Peter; a house situated in front of the house Serice, which was once possessed by a Greek [Grecus] canon of the Holy Sepulchre called Salomon; all the houses, situated in front of the hospital [hospitale] called Hebeneboleit, which extend from the oven of Sanctus Georgius Discoopertus to the road that runs to the church of SS Cosmas and Damian. Prince Raymond adds more recent gifts to this list: a house given in alms by Osmundus canonicus Antiochenus, situated before the Bath House of Tancred; the house of Gameliel presbiter, Sancti Sepulcri canonicus, situated near the church of St Leonard; a house that belonged to a layman called Benedictus, facing the church of St Symeon. text: (1144) [56] Raymond [of Poitiers], Dei gratia princeps Antiochenus, together with his wife Constantia, confirms under seal all the rights the Genoese consuls, represented by their legate [legatus] Willelmus Brunus, ought to have throughout his principality. These rights were conceded by Bohemond I, Tancred and Bohemond II. Witnesses: Rogerius de Montibus constabularius; Leo Maiopolus dux Anth[iochenus]; Petrus Armonii castellanus; Gitterius de Moçon; Rotbertus Gaufridi filius; Martinus de Margato pincerna principis; Gillebertus eiusdem clericus, who wrote the charter; Thomas vicecomes.
