Patriarch Fulcher of Jerusalem records that Anfredus de Torono gives the lepers in the leprosary of St Lazarus in Jerusalem 10 quintardi of raisins and 10 besants in perpetuity to be collected at harvest time in the territory of Hebron. Witnesses: Rogerius patriarche capellanus; Fredericus ecclesie Sancti Lazari capellanus; Fulco miles Sancti Abrahe; Frogerius miles Sancti Abrahe; Brictius burgensis Jerusalem; Seardus surianus Sancti Abrahe; Gillebertus, miles et frater Hospitalis. The wife and son of Anfredus de Torono confirm the gift in the presence of Guido Scandaleonis dominus. The charter was drawn up at the request of Anfredus by Ernesius cancellarius.

text: May. Tyre? With the agreement of his wife and his son Anfredus, Anfridus [de Torone], makes an eleemosynary grant to the leprosary of St Lazarus. He gives it a rent of 30 besants, to be paid from the returns, which are commonly called cavages, of his villani in the casale of Turron. The rent will be paid annually on the Feast of St Hilary. Humphrey has his gift authenticated with the seal of Petrus Tirensis ecclesie archiepiscopus, who threatens with excommunication anyone who violates this donation.
