Pope Honorius III writes that Adam pauper clericus has complained to him that when the pope ordered the archbishop and chapter of Nicosia to find a prebend for him, they persuaded Adam to agree to something prejudicial in the presence of the papal legate, Cardinal Pelagius of Albano, and then infringed the agreement. Honorius orders the patriarch of Antioch, the abbot of St Paul of Antioch and the cantor of Antioch to revoke any attempt to evade a papal mandate and to see that Adam is provided for.

The archbishop has asked the pope to help with its restoration. Pope Honorius III orders the patriarch of Jerusalem, the archbishop of Caesarea and Iterus canonicus Antiochenus, who lives in Acre, to investigate and decide on the matter.

The bishop of Famagusta has informed the pope that during the reign of King Aimery of Cyprus the tithes of 3 districts [regiones], Petalas, Constantia and Crotequi, were granted to his church, as is recorded in the privilege of Pope Celestine III. But the archbishop of Nicosia unjustly receives the tithes of the casalia of Melias and Saforia, and of other places in the districts. Pope Honorius III orders the patriarch of Jerusalem, the bishop of Bethlehem and the archdeacon of Acre to investigate and restore the tithes to the archbishop of Famagusta if that is appropriate.
