text: Jan. 28. Rome. St Peter’s. Pope Innocent III writes to the chapter of the church of Nicosia, taking it and its possessions under papal protection. He refers specifically to a house which belonged to the late Guillermus de Caurellis, which had been derelict and had been restored by the archbishop of Nicosia; a garden in Nicosia; and a prastia called Pallorum, granted in alms by King Aimery.
