[98] In the presence of Patriarch Amalric, Bertrandus magister militię Templi, with the consent of his chapter, surrenders to Nicholaus prior Dominici Sepulcri and his canons a rent of 150 besants a year, which the Holy Sepulchre was accustomed to pay for the upkeep of the Templars. [99] In return, the Holy Sepulchre makes a grant under seal, giving the Templars the 3 casalia of Bubin, Caphardin and Betelcanzir, with their lands and rustici, although the canons can retain any local rustici found elsewhere, so long as they are not living in the casalia. Half tithes will be due on the casalia.
