text: Aug. 23. With the consent of his chapter, Iohannes ecclesie Montis Thabor abbas sells under seal to Belvays/Beleaijs scriptor, a confrater of the abbey, a petia of land next to his house in Acre to develop as he pleases. The land is on the southern side of the house. It adjoins on the east a house that had belonged to Paganus de Cayphas and on the west a house that belonged to Gaufridus Tortus. It is sold for 20 Saracen besants and a rent of 2 Saracen besants, payable to the abbey each year on the Feast of the Transfiguration. Witnesses: frater Gandulfus monachus; frater Fulco; frater Rozerius/Rogerius; magister Balduinus regius clericus.
