The sale is confirmed by Rainaud seigneur de Margat, from whom the casale is held, and by Prince Bohemond III of Antioch, on condition that the casale will be occupied by frère Nicolas hospitalier and that after his death it will belong to the Order. Bohemond’s confirmation is accompanied by the gift of [a rent of] 200 besants, to be drawn from the commercium [commerce] at Latakia.

Baldwin, per dei gratiam in sancta civitate Ierusalem Latinorum rex sextus, confirms under seal the possession by Rogerius de Molinis sancte domus Hospitalis Ierusalem magister and his brothers of a casale called Sileta in the territory of Nablus with its villani and especially of all the Beduini whose names are recorded and their heirs. These were possesssed by Amalricus vicecomes Neapolitanus and his father Baldoinus. They had been given them by Queen Melisende and had owned them for a long time. Amalricus, with the agreement of Queen Maria and Balianus de Ibelino Neopolitanus domnus, of Stephania, the wife of Amalricus, of her father Baldoinus Ramatensis domnus, of Ysabella the mother of Amalricus and his brothers Renaldus, Iohannes, Raimundus, Rogerius and Balianus, and his sisters Milissendis, Gisla and Agnes, had sold under seal the casale and the Beduini to the brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem for 5500 besants. King Baldwin confirms the Hospital’s ownership of any of the heirs of these Beduini who migrate from Muslim to Frankish territory [de terra Sarracenorum ad terram Francorum].
