Hugo, Cesaree Palestine dominus, with the agreement of his wife Ysabel, the daughter of dominus Johannes Gothmannus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, to benefit among others his brother Eustachius, who is a brother of St Lazarus. Hugo gives the leprosary of St Lazarus of Jerusalem the viridarium that had been held by Stephanus Loripes and the house that had belonged to his brother Eustachius. The brothers of St Lazarus will hold the house free from all servitium to the lord of Caesarea. Hugo also gives another house next door that had been occupied by Arnaldus Gala, a brother of St Lazarus, on condition that if anyone but a brother of the leprosary lives in it the servitus paid by other burgenses will be rendered to the lord of Caesarea. He confirms everything given them by Rainaldus dominus Margati, the son of Rainaldus Masuerius, with the consent of his wife Agnes, the daughter of the count of Tripoli, and their sons. With the consent of Agnes and his son Thomas, Rainaldus had sold the Templars a gastina called Bolferis, situated in the mountains above Valenia for 500 besants, but he had retained for the use of his heirs a gastina called Magaytemme and mills on the river which descended from Castellum Laycas. Bolferis was given to the Templars through Prince Rainald, who added the house of the hospital in Valenia, together with a vineyard, a garden and land the Templars already possessed, together with a mill situated between Ericium and the sea. [11] In the presence of Patriarch Amalric and dominus Constantinus Ramathensis episcopus, and with the consent of Abbot Herbertus and the brothers of the abbey of SS Joseph and Habakuk, Hugo de Ybelino Ramathensis dominus, makes an eleemosynary grant in return for the great sum of money [beneficium] provided by the canons of the Holy Sepulchre to achieve his liberation from captivity. He transfers to Nicholaus prior and the convent of the Holy Sepulchre Bethel and Beze, which is called Bazirim, with 2 carrucatę terrę, 5 jornatę terrę and a tower [turris], with whatever the abbey has built there, which at Bethel his father Barisanus had given in alms to the abbey of SS Joseph and Habakuk. In exchange for the return of this property Hugo had given SS Joseph and Habakuk part of the turonium which is below Mirabellum from which spring the surdi fontes and 2 carrucatę in the same territory, which the abbey can develop more conveniently than at Bethel. In the presence of Patriarch Amalric, Petrus Tyrensis archiepiscopus, together with his chapter, makes an eleemosynary grant, giving dominus Nicholaus Sancti Sepulcri prior and the convent of the Holy Sepulchre the entire tithe of a casale called Derina, which the canons possess. Any appurtenance of the casale which the canons acquire will be freed from the tithe. Petrus also gives the tithe of an enclosed viridarium between the wall and forewall of Tyre [inter murum et ejus antemurale], with a berquilium. He confirms their possession of the church of St Mary, which was the first cathedral of Tyre, saving the dignity of the mother church.
