text: Aug 1 – Dec. 24. In the principality of Antioch. Baldwin per dei gratiam Hierosolimorum rex secundus makes an eleemosynary grant to the abbey of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, giving a casale called Betori in the territory of Nablus. Anyone who dares to challenge this will be proceeded against in the king’s court [in curia mea] and will be fined 1000 besants. Witnesses: Hugo Blancus; Paganus cancellarius; Anscherius de Mosteriolo; Bernardus Vaccarius; Robertus de Meri; Willelmus de Sancto Bertino; Baronus Saggittarius; Karolus nepos Rainaldi Masoeri; and all the abbey’s convent.
