Josbertus [Hospitalis Jerusalem] humilis minister, with the consent of all his chapter, gives under seal, by the hand of frater Bernardus magister [asinarie], a house and the empty land next to it in the curtilium called Belveer in Jerusalem to [Ar]ionus Jacobinus for the annual rent of 4….., payable on the Feast of St John the Baptist. If Arion [or his heirs] wish to build on it and sell it, the Hospital will have pre-emption rights, receiving 1 besant less than the asking price. If the Hospital agrees to a sale, the property can be sold to anyone except churches or milites. Arion leaves a third part of his property to the Hospital on his death. Josbertus magister Hospitalis Iherusalem, with the agreement of all his chapter, cedes to Meletus Surianus, Surianorum et Graecorum Gazam et Jabin habitantium finesque eorum archiepiscopus, the monastery [monasterium] of S. Georgius at Bersabee, which the Latins call Gybelin, for his lifetime, on condition that after his death the monastery will revert to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, with all the improvements that have been made. This will be treated as an eleemosynary gift to the poor of the Hospital, made on behalf of the [Byzantine] emperor Manuel. Meletus is received into the confraternity of the Hospital. Jobert/Jobertus, maistre/magister of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, with the agreement of his brothers, transfers under seal into the possession of the sick in the hospital [Xenodoche], and to frere/frater Estiene/Stephanus hospitalier/hospitalarius the casalia of S. Maria and Caphaer, in order to provide white bread. Should the harvest at the casalia fail or be ruined with weeds, the Order’s treasury [tresor/thesaurus] will purchase wheat or it shall be supplied by the Order’s granary [grenier/granerium]. Each two patients should receive one loaf that should weigh the equivalent of 2 marci.

Sibilla can do what she likes with the property, but the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem will have preemption rights and the house may not be sold to milites or churches.
