text: Mar. 6. In the presence of Patriarch Amalric of Jerusalem, Adam Sancti Abrahę prior, together with his convent, gives Petrus Jai, a confrater, and his heirs a casale called Naharia, which is situated next to the well [puteus] on the road that runs from the city of Antioch to the Pons Farfaris, and 2 houses in Antioch, of which one is sited by Sancta Maria Rotunda and the other by the house of the comitissa de Cereph. The properties are given on condition that the rights of the wife of Willelmus Ostiarius/Hostiarius and her heir are preserved and that the rent [census] payable by her in the past to the church of Hebron [Sanctus Abraham] will be rendered to Petrus Jai. Should she or her heir be unwilling to pay or should they die, the properties will pass directly to Petrus. The church of Hebron [Sanctus Abraham] retains pre-emption rights. Petrus Jai and his heirs will pay an annual rent [census] of 16 Saracen besants to the church of Sanctus Abraham in Acre, payable at Easter. Petrus has become a confrater and has given the church 150 besants. text: Apr. 1. [157] Jerusalem. Henricus Trecensis comes palatinus, records how he has visited the tombs of the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob at Hebron. Out of sympathy for Bishop R. and the canons there he makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, giving them an annual rent of 60 librae of Provins, to be drawn from the revenues of Troyes, and a house in that city which the canons can occupy. He frees the canons from the payment of dues. Witnesses: Henricus comes Grandis Prati; Gaufridus frater ejus; W. de Sancta Maura; W. marescallus; Artaudus camerarius; Robertus de Milli; Theobaldus de Fumis; magister Philippus; magister Hugo; Nicholaus capellanus; Petrus Tristandus; Milo de Pruvino; and others.
