text: Mar. 5. Rome. St Peter’s. Concerned by the threat to Christianity posed by the dispute over the principality of Antioch between King Leon of Cilician Armenia and his nephew on one side and the count of Tripoli on the other, and the failure of the mission of Cardinal Soffred of St Praxedis and Cardinal Peter of St Marcellus, Pope Innocent III appoints the abbots of Lucedio and Mt Tabor and the noble laymen Comes Bertoldus and G[erardus] de Furniuall[e] to end the dispute, compelling the parties to observe a truce in the interim and preventing the king of Jetrusalem, the Hospitallers of St John and the Knights Templar from taking sides in the dispute.
