Referring to the appeal of the queen of Cyprus and B., son of the count of Tripoli, brought to the Holy See by their emissaries, the magister scolarum Antiochenarum and W. de Rivetta miles, against the decision on the illegality of their marriage by the archbishop of Nicosia, on the grounds that their affinity is in the 5th, not the 4th, degree of consanguinity, Pope Honorius III orders the patriarch of Jerusalem and the bishop of Acre to investigate and reach a decision.
