Gerold abbé de Notre-Dame de la Vallée de Josaphat gives under seal to Nasserus, the son of Henof, and his sisters a pecia terrae, 12 cannes in length and 4 across, in the gastine of Mons Musard. On the east it touches the houses of Michael Le Rempeor and Michael Bastatius. On the west stands the house of Farage syriacus. On the south is the house of David Piscator, while the land stretches to a lane [viculus] that joins the public way, where there is the way out of a house….. next to the mill of Farage. On the north is the entry to the land on common passage [in exitum communem]. Nassarus, his sisters and heirs will pay the abbey of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat an annual rent of 5 and a half Saracen besants, payable at Martinmas. The land may be sold or alienated to anyone except Knights Templar, Hospitallers of St John and other religious communities, and the abbey retains pre-emption rights.
