Reminded of the time when the count of Tripoli occupied the citadel of Antioch, held by the Hospitallers of St John on the orders of Cardinal Pelagius of Albano, the papal legate, and seized the commandery [domus] and other properties of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem in Tripoli by force, Pope Honorius III authorizes the magister and brothers of the Hospital to use arms to recover their goods if the count will not restore them.
