text: Autumn - Christmas. Rogerius Ramathensis episcopus, at the advice and with agreement of his chapter of St George [of Lydda], at the admonition of Patriarch Arnulf of Jerusalem and at the request and with the agreement of King Baldwin I, makes an eleemosynary grant, giving Hugo abbas and the church of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat a deserted casale called Sephoria; a house within his castle [castrum] and another in the mahumaria, and 4 carrucae of arable land in front of his castle. Witnesses: from the aforesaid chapter, Radulfus archidiaconus, Hugo decanus, Robertus cantor; and all the other canons; other witnesses, Arnulfus patriarcha; Balduinus gloriosissimus rex; Euuremarus Caesareae archiepiscopus; Bernardus Nazarenus episcopus; Ansketinus Bethlemitae episcopus; Eustachius Granarius; Symon constabularius; Radulfus de Fontenei; Guido de Mili; Gotman; Gauterius Mahumet; Anselmus de Parenti; Pisellus; Paganus cancellarius regis; Giraldus camerarius.
