Bernardus de Moruel, who has come to Antioch in the service of Christianity, has fallen ill and is fearing death, has asked to be buried by the Knights Templar and makes an eleemosynary grant to them. He asks his brothers Alelmus and Hugo to present this charter, sealed with their seals and that of the bishop of Amiens, to his wife Maria as evidence. His testament had been witnessed by the nobles Rajnerius de Manni and E. de Manni, who swore to this in the cardinals’ presence. Other witnesses were Hugo de Alneto, Johannes Codart and the noble Johannes de Bielle, who as the lord of B[auduinus] confirmed the gift. The cardinals also confirm the grant.
