text: Jul. 28. Albano. Writing to F[ulcherius] Tyrensis archiepiscopus and stressing Papal Primacy, Pope Innocent II records how he has followed his predecessors in subjecting the church of Tyre, once subject to the patriarchate of Antioch, and Fulcherius its archbishop to the patriarchate of Jerusalem. He forbids the patriarch of Antioch to issue sentences of interdict or excommunication with respect to the province of Tyre.
