With the agreement of Baldwin, in civitate sancte Iherusalem Latinorum rex sextus, Queen Maria, Balianus dominus Neapolis, his [Amalricus] wife Stephania, her father dominus Balduinus Ramathensis, his mother Isabella, his brothers Rainaldus, Johannes, Ramundus, Rogerus and Balianus and his sisters Mellisent, Gilla and Agnes, Amalricus vicecomes Neapolis, the son of the late Balduinus vicecomes, sells under seal to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem and its brothers, represented by frater Rogerius de Molinis magister, the casale called Seleth which is situated in the territory of Nablus with all the rustici living in it, its lands and moveable and immoveable appurtenances. It is bounded on the east by the casale S. Samuel, on the south by the casale Fundecomia, on the west by a casale belonging to the Hospital called Lathara and to the north by the casale of Loia. Amalricus has received 2800 besants in payment from magister Rogerius. Amalricus vicecomes Neapolitanus, the son of the late Balduinus Neapolitanus vicecomes, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, to benefit particularly his father’s soul, for the use of the poor at the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, to its brothers and its magister Rogerius de Molinis. He gives a petia terre lying between the Hospital’s casalia of Tare and Seletes and his casale of Loie. Amalricus vicecomes Neapolis records under seal the ending of a long dispute between him and the abbey of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat over the boundaries of land, which is above Kafrecos. With the agreement of his wife Theophania he orders and assents to a drawing of the boundaries by 3 probi homines of Nablus, dominus Bernardus Pelliparius, dominus Wido de Escar and dominus Georgius Cambitor. The boundary [divisiones et metae] is marked as follows. It runs below the wall of the vineyard of Basinus to the vineyard of Gilelmus Brito and then by marks, set on the hillside to the cavea Medequen and the vineyard already named, descending as far as the mills. Amalricus surrenders all the land within the boundaries on the eastern side as far as ima Vallis Abrahae. Witnesses: dominus Petrus prior ecclesiae Vallis Iosaphat; dominus Stephanus eiusdem domus elemosynarius; domnus Bernardus tunc prior de Eschar; of the burgenses of Nablus, dominus Bernardus Parmentarius; dominus Guido de Eschar; dominus Georgius Cambitor.
