Tancred [Marchisius] gives the church of St Laurence of the Genoese one third of the revenues from goods leaving Solinum by land or sea; a street [ruga] in Antioch which runs from the river bed [torrens] as far as the street [ruga] of the Amalfitans, together with the church of St John, which Bohemond [of Taranto], had already donated, reserving the diocesan rights of the cathedral of St Peter of Antioch; one third of the [revenues] of the port of Latakia, as at Solinum, and similarly a ruga with church, as at Antioch, together with [similar rights in] all ports that the Genoese help to conquer in future. The Genoese, together with merchants from Savona and Noli, will pay no commertium. Tancred promises to deal with any complaints they raise within 30 days. Another version is to be found in Ughelli, Italia sacra 4:847-8, in which there appear further witnesses: Tancredus; Anna, notarius de foro patriarchae.
