text: Apr. 26. Lateran. Pope Alexander III reminds King Baldwin IV that after complaints from the Genoese consuls his father King Amalric restored the Genoese golden inscription in the church of the Holy Sepulchre. The Genoese have complained that thereafter Amalric destroyed the inscription and confiscated money that belonged to them. The pope orders Baldwin to restore the inscription and return the cash.

Comes Joscelinus senescalcus, from whom the Hospitallers will receive sugar, agrees to this charter of confirmation. Raymond III [Tripo]litanorum comes records how Gauterius Tiberiadis vicecomes came into his presence and that of domina Eschiva comitissa and her son dominus Hugo de Tiberiade to surrender the rights to 3 casalia [in the territory of Nablus] called Azatil, Eiucheilem and Eincanephis, which he had sold to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem for 1000 besants. Raymond, Eschiva and Hugo confirm the sale under seal and invest the Hospital, represented by magister Rogerius de Molendinis, with the casalia. Raymond III, Dei gratia Tripolitanorum comes, gives under seal to the cathedral and commune of Pisa a house in Tripoli to be held on the same free terms as other Pisan houses in the city. To the front of the house is the public way, to the back it adjoins other Pisan houses. On one side in the direction of the port there are houses belonging to the sons of Germundus and to Bernardus, the son of Iohannes Cupa, and on the other the houses of Vitalis Veneticus.
