When an abbot of St Paul visits St Mary he will be received as an abbot and can enter the choir and chapter and in the absence of the abbot of St Mary can absolve the monks from excommunication. Monks from St Mary visiting St Paul will be treated as if members of the same congregation. Monks who leave in discord from St Mary will be received by St Paul but will be disciplined and will be expected to make peace with their own community, but they will be sent away if they have been excommunicated. The deaths of monks of St Mary will be commemorated in St Paul, except that there will not be the usual alms-giving. If the land of Antioch falls into the hands of the Turci, St Mary will provide for the monks of St Paul. The abbot and monks of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat will enjoy the same rights in St Paul as have been specified for the abbot and monks of St Paul.
