text: May 1-31. Joscelin II, son of Joscelin the Great, divina clementia propitia Edessanus comes, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem. He confirms the gifts made by his father and confirmed by King Baldwin II of a hospital [hospitale], situated in the casale of Turbascellum, and the church of S. Romanus, with the consent of Franco Tuluppensis archiepiscopus. Joscelin also confirms everything the Hospital of St John held on the day he was given the county. The charter of gift is written by Oelardus, praedicte ecclesie et pauperum Hospitalis frater. Fulk, dei gratia tercius rex Latinorum Iherusalem nec non et rector ac bajulus Antiocheni principatus filiᶒque Boamundi iunioris, confirms and seals the eleemosynary grant made by Osmun-dus de Monte Garou, canon of St Peter [of Antioch] to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre. Osmundus gave them a house, with a bordellus adjacent, situated next to the Bath House of Tancred. text: Dec. 25 1133 – Aug. 31 1134. Patriarch William of Jerusalem has given Sancta Quarantena, with all that belongs to it, to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre. With the advice and consent of Patriarch William and Petrus prior, the canons have chosen Rainaldus, one of themselves, to be prior of Sancta Quarantena. He is to remain a canon of the Holy Sepulchre and will be subject to the prior and canons there. His successors will be appointed by the canons of the Holy Sepulchre. Rainaldus has the right to enlarge the priory and increase the size of the community at Sancta Quarantena. The deed is confirmed and sealed by Patriarch William.
