text: Jan 6. Bartholomeus de Maisiera, originating in the diocese of Amiens, recognises the favour done to him by the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem in extricating him from imprisonment by the Muslims [pagani] and becomes a confrater of the Hospital. In the presence of Patriarch A[lbert] of Jerusalem, and dominus P. cesariensis archiepiscopus, he makes an eleemosynary grant, sealed by the patriarch, to the Hospital, giving it rents in Picardy.
