Pope Innocent III writes to the magister and brothers of the Knights Templar [militia Templi] overseas, confirming the eleemosynary gift made to them of Satalia [in Asia Minor] by the emperor of Constantinople, the doge of Venice and the barones and milites of the Latin army. This had already been confirmed by his legate Cardinal P. of St Marcellus.
