Any appurtenance of the casale which the canons acquire will be freed from the tithe. Petrus also gives the tithe of an enclosed viridarium between the wall and forewall of Tyre [inter murum et ejus antemurale], with a berquilium. He confirms their possession of the church of St Mary, which was the first cathedral of Tyre, saving the dignity of the mother church. He confirms the possessions and rights of the canons of the Holy Sepulchre in the Iberian peninsula [Yspania]. He exempts them from the payment of tithes on noval lands, cultivated by themselves or at their expense, and on animal fodder.
