As the Greeks did not pay tithes, he absolves them from all payment of tithes on animal fodder and the harvests of all possessions farmed themselves or at their expense held before the time of the [Fourth Lateran Council] and on all possessions farmed or at their expense which have been acquired since the council, although tithes will be payable on acquisitions farmed by others.
