Cardinal Pelagius of Albano, the papal legate, writes to the episcopus Mantuanus and the abbas Montis Syon, who are in Acre, committing to them judgement in the case between S. Tyrensis archiepiscopus and the Venetians over the church of St Mark in Tyre.

Dominus Laurenzus plebanus ecclesie Sancti Marci de Achone, dominus Bartholomeus bailius, Andreas de Vitale, Joannes de Canale and sansus de Venetiis are present when dominus Petrus plebanus ecclesie Sancti Marci de Tyro reports that he has presented Yvo abbas sancti Leonardi de Monte Sion with the letter from Damietta [of Nov. 25] sealed by Cardinal Pelagius of Albano, the papal legate. Manzius sacri palacii notarius was present and wrote this document.

Marci de Tyro confirms in the presence of Gerardus capellanus episcopi Mantuani, presbiter Henricus plebanus ecclesie S. Marci de Accon and Azzo confallonerius de Mantua, that he has the letter from Cardinal Pelagius of Albano [sent from Damietta on Nov. 25]. Mancius sacri palatii notarius was present and wrote this document on the orders of the plebanus.

text: Mar. 1-31. [315] Raymond Rupen, dei gracia princeps Antiochenus, son of Prince Raymond, makes a sealed grant to the magister and brothers of the Hospital of St Mary of the Germans. He gives them freedom to sell, buy, enter and leave with their own goods throughout his land, whether within Antioch or outside it, and to export and import by sea without paying dues [dreitura neque consuetudo] to his balivi, pactonarii and homines. Witnesses: Mansellus constabularius et maior Antiochie; Aymarus de Leron; GuilIelmus de Assardo; Amalricus de Crusi; Anfredus de Margato; Willelmus de Flechia dux Antiochie. Reminding the dean [decanus] and chapter of the church of Antioch that he had turned down their choice of Cardinal Pelagius of Albano to be patriarch and that the canonici Anselmus, Ulricus and Prandus had visited him, Pope Honorius III informs the dean and chapter that, employing his rights of provision, he has appointed magister Petrus de Capua, subdiaconus pape, doctor Parisiensis, the nephew of the late Cardinal Peter of St Marcellus, to the patriarchate of Antioch. He orders the chapter to be united and to care for the church of Antioch until the arrival of the new patriarch.
