He also describes Tebaldus’s appended lead seal: on one side a cross flanked by the moon and the sun, surrounded by the inscription: + HOC SIGNUM CRUCIS ERIT IN CELO + and on the other a bishop with a pastoral staff in his left hand surrounded by the inscription: + SIGILLUM TEOBALDI ACONENSIS EPISCOPI +
