text: Jan. 21. Lateran. Pope Honorius III writes that Adam pauper clericus has complained to him that when the pope ordered the archbishop and chapter of Nicosia to find a prebend for him, they persuaded Adam to agree to something prejudicial in the presence of the papal legate, Cardinal Pelagius of Albano, and then infringed the agreement. Honorius orders the patriarch of Antioch, the abbot of St Paul of Antioch and the cantor of Antioch to revoke any attempt to evade a papal mandate and to see that Adam is provided for.
